State Registration will be taken on the following dates:
POP UP Registration: Saturday – June 27, 2026 – @ LaFayette – at the TCHRC Horse Show; after the morning Timed Events are done.
Sunday – July 19, 2026 – 2:00-5:00pm @ LaFayette – Chambers Co Cattleman’s Building
May be cancelled if not needed: Saturday – July 25, 2026 – 2:00-5:00pm @ Alexander City – The Cabin – Charles E Bailey Sportplex
*All ponies must be remeasured prior to the last show for state show requirements.
Coggins:
- The “Date Blood Drawn” must be a date after: 9/6/2025
- If that date is before 9/6/2025 – You should have scheduled your vet appointment by NOW to get a new test done in time to get your results back BEFORE July 19th. It can take up to two or more weeks to get the results, so don’t delay.
- The name the horse has been shown under at the local shows must be on the COGGINS – no exceptions!
- You must bring a PRINTED COPY of the horse’s COGGINS to be turned in with the registration. The “Date Blood Drawn”, “Date Results Reported” and the “Official Result” (i.e. Negative) must be visible on the printed copy. Go ahead and get your copy printed to make sure all is good so that you don’t arrive to register with a copy we cannot accept.
REGISTRATION Forms:
We will have forms on hand, but to save time, you can print, complete and bring ALL of the following to registration.
PRINT & MARK CLEARLY
- Registration Summary – 1 per family (i.e. one payment = one Reg. Summary form)
- Entry Form – 1 per horse/rider combination
- Stimulant Testing & Consent Form – 1 per horse/rider combination
NOTE: The QR Code will not be active until mid-July; however, it will take you to the AOHA Medication Rules page that has been available on the website for many months. - AOHA Horse Information Form – 1 per horse
- Stall Information Sheet – 1 per horse
- Copy of printed coggins
- Ponies must be remeasured at a show before registration dates
